For the ultimate in space saving designs, this Thuka Maxi Shorty 2 mid sleeper bed provides an exciting place to sleep for your little one and storage that utilises every useful spare inch of space underneath the sleeping area in a length that is shorter than a traditional mid sleeper so it will fit in those smaller sized rooms traditionally given to the youngest child.
Made from tightly grained Scandinavian polar pine throughout, this package greatly increases the storage area in smaller rooms. Featuring a neat pull out swivel desk with integral shelves that tucks away neatly when not in use, a 4 drawer chest of drawers designed specifically to fit snugly alongside and a 2 shelf bookcase to fill the remaining space. A true winner in terms of design, practicality and build quality. The safety pack shown in the picture is available as an optional extra.
To give a measure to the quality of pine used throughout the Thuka Maxi range, the corner posts are a whopping 2 3/4 inch square and the rails are 1 1/4 inch thick, much thicker than other beds of this type from other manufacturers. Finished in a hard wearing, easy clean clear lacquer, this is made to look good and remain solid for years to come.
The Thuka Maxi Shorty 2 comes with either a slanted or straight ladder which can be placed at the right or left hand side of the bed. With the slanted ladder option, the overall width rises to 143 cm.
